Full Circle Midwifery provides a harmonious blend of traditional midwifery care with modern advancements in DeLand, Florida. As midwives and mothers, our philosophy is rooted in the idea that pregnancy and birth are normal, physiological processes for most women.

The philosophy of Full Circle is based on the principles of the Midwives Model of Care™. Our care includes:

Evidence has proven that the application of this woman-centered model reduces incidence of birth injury, trauma, and cesarean section.
We know that each person is different, and therefore each birth will be different. Our job is to listen closely to our clients and provide recommendations, creating a supportive and secure environment where women can experience the full empowerment of childbirth.

Home Birth
Home birth offers a woman and her family a deeper level of involvement. Birthing in a calm and familiar environment is a beautifully profound and unique experience!
We provide complementary use of labor tools such as a professional birth pool, birth stools, herbal care, TENS unit, and more!
You only need a midwife when you need a midwife. We facilitate physiologic, natural birth and are trained to manage complications should they arise.

Family Focused
We acknowledge pregnancy and birth can bring profound growth and change to the entire family. If desired, your loved ones are welcome to attend your appointments and actively engage in the process.
We love to involve siblings during heart tone checks and visually demonstrate what position your baby is in with our baby doll and pelvis model.
Should you choose, we are fully supportive of siblings participating in cord cutting or your spouse catching the baby.
We fully respect your decisions, knowing that you are the best and final expert on your body and your baby. Your care, your way.
Wellness Centered
We believe that women have a right to choose the place of their birth and to birth in a safe, nurturing place assisted by caring attendants.
We encourage you to hone in on your intuition and be an active participant in your care. Your Midwife will assume the role of guide through shared decision making; pointing you towards evidence-based information and research, relaying professional experience, and recognizing your own individual preferences. Together we will review the options available to you, assess your risk factors, and formulate a plan that resonates best with you.
We provide all the visits and medical care you need before, during, and after your baby is born. These appointments can be done in our office, or from the comfort of your own home. You will have direct access to providers via phone call and ClientCare portal messaging.

Six months ago, I called you after midnight telling you “I’m in labor”, it was late, you were just finished with another mom, you were tired, but you didn’t make me feel uncomfortable to call you, NOT AT ALL. You just came and stayed with us for more than 12 hours! You are a hero Estee - a very strong and loving woman. You helped very well through that phenomenal night.
