We absolutely accept payment plans. You have the option to pay in full (preferred) or make payments over the course of care (from the date of hire to 34 weeks)
A deposit of $1000 will be due at the first scheduled prenatal visit and will secure your spot on our calendar.
Our deposits are non-refundable, as they hold your place in our care calendar and allow us to protect the small caseload that keeps our care personalized.

For reimbursement purposes only.
Every policy has different benefits and different pay schedules, so we collect our fees upfront, then we refer you to a medical biller to determine your specific insurance benefits and submitting a claim for the best possible reimbursement after your birth.As fully licensed and insured medical providers, you are likely to have our services applied to your deductible at minimum. To find out what your insurance plan will cover you can call your insurance representative and ask what your coverage is for an out of network provider providing home birth services and midwifery care.
And here's some good news: Florida statutes require that "any policy of health insurance which provides coverage for maternity care must also cover the services of certified nurse-midwives and midwives licensed pursuant to chapter 467, and the services of birth centers licensed under ss. 383.30-383.332." This includes our midwives, who are licensed under chapter 467.Healthshare plans, such as Samaritain, Christian Health Share and Zion, cover midwifery services extremely well! Check them out!!

We believe everyone deserves access to midwifery care. If finances are a barrier, please email us to request an extended payment plan option with no interest.
We had to make a difficult decision to pause our sliding scale option for 2027 due dates.

Because we believe continuous labor support improves birth outcomes and helps families feel more supported, we are happy to offer a $400 credit toward the full standard fee for clients who both pay cash in full at the initial visit and hire a professional doula.

Everything we do is included in your Full Circle Midwifery care. All appointments, prenatal visits, labor and birth support, postpartum checks, routine testing and screenings, education, and personalized planning are provided as part of our comprehensive care package.
Anything you arrange or receive outside of Full Circle—such as services from other providers, additional testing, prescriptions, separate childbirth classes, facility fees at a hospital that aren’t covered by our practice, or private doulas.
If you have questions about what’s included or want help deciding whether an outside service is necessary, we’ll review your options with you and ensure your care remains safe, coordinated, and aligned with your birth preferences.

We’re open to bartering or trading for up to half of the standard fee for care.
If you’d like to offer goods or services in exchange, we’ll agree together at the start of care on what the trade will be and the timeline for completing it.

For busy mamas, stay-at-home mamas, and first-time mamas, we bring care directly to you in the comfort of your own home. These appointments are cozy, personal, and convenient.
A travel fee of $1 per mile from our DeLand office applies to all home visits, allowing us to provide care wherever you are within our service area.
*All clients receive a birthing-time home visit at 37 weeks and their first postpartum visit as part of their care package.
At Full Circle Midwifery, we want midwifery care to be accessible to everyone, which is challenging in our patchwork system of health insurance, insufficient coverage for out-of-hospital midwives, and poor insurance reimbursement for care providers.
Because we value more accessible midwifery care in our communities, we offer payment plans, discounts, sliding fee scale, connect you to an experienced out-of-hospital insurance claims specialist for possible reimbursement, and we are open to many kinds of trade or barter for care.
We also value and respect the deep level of time, energy, care, love, support, and commitment that we put into our work as midwives.
