April Dawn, Student Midwife

April Dawn has been serving families with her whole heart for most of her life. Her journey toward midwifery began as a sophomore in high school when she attended her first birth. In that transformative moment, she felt her calling surge through her like electricity. Initially planning to become a registered nurse, April began pursuing nursing school but soon realized the hospital-based “sick-care” model didn’t align with her values. This discovery led her to explore and serve within naturopathic, chiropractic, food-healing, and massage therapy modalities. She integrated these healing practices into her care for birthing families, offering her gifts in service for over 20 years—long before she even knew the word “doula” existed. Now, with more than 30 years of birth support experience, April has joined the Full Circle team as a student midwife.

One of her favorite sayings is, “Birth is the first family memory.” She believes that birth is not
only our beginning but also one of the most powerful lifelong imprints we carry in our bodies.
Her mission is to offer the healthiest, kindest, and most loving start possible for each new human
she serves.

April is passionate about “mothering the mother,” believing that when we love and prioritize the
health of the birthing person, we elevate the heart of humanity.

In her free time, April can be found in nature, spending quality time with her family and animal companions, or cooking up something nourishing and delicious for the lucky families she supports.

Kylie Griffiths, RN

Hi, I’m Kylie, the practice manager here at Full Circle! I’m a mother of two, an ex-critical care nurse, and an integrative nutrition health coach. I’ve always been passionate about natural, holistic health, but after having my daughter in 2021, my true passion for helping women during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum was awakened. Though my birth experience was the most empowering of my life, many things went sideways, leaving me feeling broken.

After healing from that experience and having a healing birth with my son, I knew I wanted to help women navigate their own unique journeys in motherhood. I find the most joy in celebrating your triumphs with you and the most purpose in helping you through the challenges. It truly is my heart’s desire to walk beside you in this journey—not only as another mother, but as a friend who really gets it. Moms need moms, and I’m so thrilled and grateful to be part of this beautiful community of women within Full Circle and The Collective Kin!

If I’m not at a farmers market, playground, or the beach with my family, you can find me in the kitchen, whipping up a Joanna Gaines recipe or baking some sourdough.

Brandi Crosby, Practice assistant

I am a devoted wife and proud mother of seven, and my journey into motherhood has been one of the greatest joys of my life. After welcoming my first four children in the hospital, I went on to have my last three babies at home with Full Circle Midwifery. Those home births were some of the most beautiful and empowering experiences I’ve ever had. There was something so sacred about the quiet of our own home, the peace that surrounded us, and the intimate moments I shared with my husband as we welcomed new life into the world. Those experiences not only shaped me as a mother, but also gave me a deep appreciation for the gift of midwifery care.

Faith plays a central role in my life—I am Christ-centered and holistic-minded, and I believe in nurturing both body and spirit. I find great meaning in walking alongside families during such a transformational season of life, encouraging them to trust the natural process of birth and the strength that God has placed within them.

When I’m not working, I am with my family. We love cooking and baking together. Most evenings, you can find me at the baseball field, cheering on my kids, and I love being outdoors—whether that’s soaking up the sunshine at the springs, exploring local farmer’s markets, or simply enjoying time in nature. In addition to my role at Full Circle, I’m also a Realtor, and I find joy in helping families find a place they can call home.

Life with a big family is wonderfully full, and I feel so blessed to be able to pour into both my home and my work. It’s a privilege to witness families during such a sacred season, as they welcome their babies into the world. Each birth is a reminder of the beauty, strength, and love that surrounds this journey, and I’m honored to be part of it.
